Question About Ethics

I hear some folks say the ends justify the means.

I don't believe that to be true. Ethics should be the #1 concern of any business. If the business cannot make money without being unethical then the owners should close the business and start fresh. I know of a case right now where a producer of food and drug ingredients has been part of such unethical behavior. At least I consider it to be unethical.

Decide for yourself!

Lets say that it is a pork related product. Now I am not Jewish and do not know a lot about their religious beliefs, But I do know that most Jewish people do not eat pork.

Now if a company that produces a product that is derived from pork pays a Rabbi several thousand dollars to come in and bless the product does that make it Kosher.

Like I said before I am not Jewish but I do have my religion, and I think that any person or company that would fool me into doing something against my religion should be sued, the perpetrators of what I consider a crime should go to jail and never be allowed to be in the position to do it again.

I thought that was the purpose of having the kosher label on products. Isn't there a truth in advertising policy that covers this.

I would name the company and parties involved, but legal concerns prevent me from doing so right now. As soon as I work through the legalities I will make sure to let it be known.

This post is a little off topic of making money online, but I thought it needed to be brought to light. I will keep you posted.
